Thank You, friends

for supporting my Christmas cards sales. I'm so thankful. I hope these cards will bring joy and love to your friends and love ones. As I will be away from 15 Dec to 22 Dec for a short trip, I'm sorry I will have to close my Christmas cards sales from today. Thank you soooo sooooo much. I wish all of you a "Merriest Christmas" may God blessings continue to be with you this day and everyday :)

Finally

I'm able to post again. Thank God. My computer has been hospitalized twice due to mother board problem and I really felt handicap without it because there are so many things I need to do with it. One of them is to set up my cards for sale in my blog :D - It is right below my blog title, just click 'Cards for sale - Christmas 2010' and the Christmas cards are listed there. I don't know how it will go but it is a good start. As there is a quote that says "Faith is taking the first step even when you don't see the whole staircase"-Martin Luther King,Jr.

So, please go to my card sale and have a look and you may find something you like to send to your relatives and friends this Christmas. Oh... it is way past my sleep time and got to wake up early tomorrow, so I stop here. Good night and sweet dreams.

It is a good day...

The weather is fine and it is not as humid as the past few days. I hope it will rain more here to cool down the weather. However, there are parts of Asia, like China, Pakistan and India where there is so much rain that it floods and cause so problems and death. So, I have to thank God we live in Singapore and give thanks whether it is humid or rainy here.



For the past 2 weeks, I have been visiting Embellish Magazine on their new challenge which ends on 26th August but I just don't have the time to do it because my children are having their exams this week. It is a challenge with new colour combo + Quirky Cutesy Clean Style. So I take the plunge and finishes it within 2 hours with breaks here and there to attend to other things. I think I have never stamped so much on one card and I happy with it.

New Look

Good morning !

I have another card for you today. It's all about hot pink, brown, green and birds.. These colours are really fantastic and I love it. You can see more at Embellish Magazine whereby many cardmakers and scrapbookers participate. You can get so much inspiration from them.
Furthermore, if you get selected you get to receive a gift voucher from The Angel Company by Christina.



For this card, I Incorporated some machine sewing on it which I don't usually do because I was never properly taught how to use it but my sister who is so nice to lend me her machine that I can try to play around with it. It can be quite a frightening experience because I don't wish to ruin my projects with threads jumble on them. My initial intention was to have zig-zag stitches on the card but I still cannot figure it out. Anyway, I managed to get a slight wavy stitch instead of straight stitching and in fact I like it very much.



So here the card :

Today

as usual, I will go to some of my favourite blogs and I saw this Fun and Cute Card Style Challenge in the Moxie Fab World. Cath has a description of what a fun and cute card should be... a happy color scheme, a sweet sentiment, and an uncomplicated design. Add in some whimsy (like cartoons and doodles), a few simple shapes (like hearts and stars), some friendly patterns (like polka dots and gingham), and voila! There's a smile on your face and a song in your heart that's unmistakably fun and cute. I'm definitely going to take this challenge, why not join me and play along.
